Welcome to The Pelham Arms
The Pelham Arms is a fantastic Pompey pub, proud to serve our local community.
Built in 1887 in brewer’s Tudor style, the Pelham was originally opened as a hotel by the Pike Spicer Brewery.
We have a large, lawned beer garden and patio area with outside seating to the rear, along with table tennis and table football.
The rambling interior is these days divided into distinct areas, with a family area, function room available to hire, and snug area with pool table, big screens, live sport, darts and jukebox.
We serve a wide selection of lagers, craft beers, whiskeys, gins and rums and we’re family and dog friendly!
We’re open every afternoon and evening of the week, with a Weekly Quiz Night on Mondays from 7.30pm. You can also join us for darts on Tuesdays and our pool team plays on Wednesdays.
When it comes to weekend entertainment, we’re the place to be, with live DJs and karaoke every first Friday of the month. We host live music on Saturdays and you can catch live Sky Sports and BT Sport on Saturdays and Sundays.
We’re proud to serve our Portsmouth locals as well as those from further afar. The city itself is packed with great attractions for all the family.
The dockyard is home to the interactive National Museum of the Royal Navy, the wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar, HMS Warrior 1860, and the Tudor ship Mary Rose is also conserved here, in a dockyard museum.
